Recovery is healing. Rebuilding relationships. Improving mental wellness. Reconnecting with purpose. Restoring hope. It rarely happens alone, and it never happens on someone else's timeline.
Mental health and substance use are deeply connected. Many people experiencing a substance use disorder are also carrying trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, chronic stress, or long stretches of isolation. Meeting one part of the story without the other leaves people stuck.
The Recovery & Resilience Initiative supports the whole person through prevention, education, recovery support, and community connection, aligned to the Care Before Crisis™ approach of building trust first and connecting people to care before emergencies occur.
